The Branding and Promotion of BJA - Part I - The First 50 Years - When it began it wasn’t even Academy. Its negligible plugging was tacked onto College/University promotion. It’s first significant branding step was the almost accidental establishing of the BJA monogram.
The Branding and Promotion of BJA - Part II - Years 50 to 100 - The Academy’s use of the BJU Crest gave way to the BJA Crest and eventually the lion and the shield. Accreditation - In Florida BJA received "standardization." In Tennessee and South Carolina BJA was accredited, until the state stopped accrediting private schools. When the BJ precollege schools united they sought and received regional accreditation. The processes BJA went through for these recognitions are telling.
